CBSE has recently released sample papers for class 10 IT code 402. Earlier other subject’s sample papers were released and lastly on the 9th of October IT subject’s sample papers were too released by CBSE. The link to download sample papers is down below and yes it's free as always.

CBSE has officially published these sample papers on its official site cbseacademic.nic.in, but many students were not able to find it. So, in this post, I will be sharing the PDFs of sample papers with a marking scheme. After the new rationalized curriculum of IT released by CBSE, the sample papers are now out which will be based on the new syllabus. Since the sample papers have been released and you have your syllabus with you it’s the right time to get yourself prepared for your exams.
Class 10 IT subject has two parts -: Part A is Employability Skills from which a total of 10 marks questions will be there in your board exam. Part B is Subject-specific skills, from which a total of 40 marks questions will be there in your board exam. Clearly, Part B holds more marks in your board exams.
With that said, you now broadly know the marks distribution for subject IT. The sample papers and marking scheme launched by CBSE have unit-wise marks distribution marked on it along with that it clearly represents the number of questions that will be asked in board exams from each unit. The sample papers exactly define the question type and the length of the answer that you have to include in that. An important thing that you should keep in mind is that Sample papers provide you a blueprint of exams about how they are going to be. So, if there is further syllabus reduction by CBSE the pattern of the exam would most probably remain the same. The news that there can be a 50% syllabus reduction by CBSE can happen is viral nowadays but it's not officially announced by CBSE yet.
